The Department of Geography and the Environment at Lakehead University invite you to participate in the 2023 Annual Meeting and Conference of the Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers. The Conference will take place in Thunder Bay from September 29-30. Connect with colleagues, share research, and explore North of Superior! Registration will remain open until Friday, September 22 at noon EST.
Early-bird registration open until Aug 15 = NOW CLOSED
After Aug 15 = $140.00 – plus $10.00 for boxed lunch with field trip.
You will have the option to select your choice of boxed lunch and any dietary restrictions during the registration process.
Students - PCAG has traditionally awarded grants to students that present at the conference. The amount will be decided at the PCAG AGM which takes place during the conference. The grant typically covers the majority of the registration fee.
Registration instructions:
Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and refund of registration fee is possible until Sept 16. There is $20 administration fee for cancellation. No refund after September 16.
Field Trips:
The field trips around the harbour are being sponsored by the local Remedial Action Plan Office (RAP) and are included in the price of the conference. Field Trips will take place on Saturday, September 30 from 1:30pm-4:30pm.
Banquet:
The banquet will be held on Saturday, September 30 from 6:30pm-9:00pm at the Delta Hotel. The banquet price will be $55 and will be buffet style. Please note any dietary restrictions in the Additional Information section in Step 3.

Call for Abstracts! Please submit your abstract to reserve one of the limited slots for the two concurrent sessions. Click on the link above for further information about abstract submission. Deadline for submissions is August 31, 2023.
