PCAG 2019 Annual Meeting & Conference

Description

The University of Regina's Department of Geography and Environmental Studies and Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Geomatics and Surveying Engineering Technology Program invite you to participate in the 2019 Annual Meeting and Conference of the Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers. The Conference will take place September 27-29, 2019 at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Moose Jaw Campus in Moose Jaw, SK. Registration will remain open until Friday, September 27 at noon EST. Last minute registration will be available on-site.

Registration instructions:
Step 1: Fill in your name and email address.
Step 2: Select your registration type(s) and add the field trip ticket(s), if desired.
Step 3: Fill in your personal information, including any dietary restrictions.
Step 4: Complete the payment, securely processed through Stripe.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: 
Cancellation and refund of registration fee is possible until Sept 16. There is $20 administration fee for cancellation. No refund after September 16.

Banquet:

The banquet will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 7:00pm-9:00pm, and is included in the cost of registration. Please note any dietary restrictions in the Additional Information section in Step 3, below.

Field trip:

Claybank Brick Plant National Historic Site of Canada is a former industrial complex used for the manufacture of clay bricks from 1914 to 1989. It is located in a pre-dominantly rural area of south-central Saskatchewan, along the Dirt Hills of the Missouri Coteau, near the communities of Claybank and Avonlea. The field trip will take place on Saturday, September 28 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. The cost to attend is $35.

Call for Papers:

Abstract submissions are now being accepted in all areas of geography and geomatics of paper presentations and poster displays. Please send your submissions to julia.siemer@uregina.ca.
Deadline for submissions is August 31, 2019.
