The Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers (PCAG) is thrilled to announce the 2025 PCAG Annual Conference & Meeting. 

Dates: October 17-18, 2025 

Location: Elkhorn Resort Spa & Conference Centre, #3 Mooswa Drive East, on the southern edge of Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba

PCAG 2025 Registration 

Each registration includes admission to the PCAG Banquet. Extra banquet tickets are available for an additional $65. Please note that meal selection is required for each registrant and extra banquet attendee. You will be prompted to submit a meal selection before completing your payment.

*Registration Deadline: The last day to register is Wednesday September 17, 2025 This is a firm deadline. Final registration numbers must be submitted to the resort following the deadline.

A Block of rooms has been set aside until September 17th. To book a room, please call the resort @ 204-848-2802 and use code: DGE25. Different room configurations are available. All rooms can sleep two people. 

*Discount spa prices are available to registrants for Saturday, October 18th. Please call the resort to book.

Now accepting abstracts for Paper and Poster Presentations!

Please submit abstracts (max. 250 words) to PCAG@brandonu.ca

Instructions:

  1. Please indicate "PCAG2025 Abstract" in the subject line.
  2. Please indicate Oral or Poster above the abstract.
  3. Please indicate if presenter is a student.
  4. Please include all authors and affiliations.

Field Trip

On Saturday afternoon, there will be an optional, free walking field trip in Wasagaming, led by RMNP Resource Conservation staff.  It will be a maximum of two hours and along flat terrain. Subjects addressed may include aquatic invasive species, forest and forest fire ecology, and black bear - human interactions.
