Description

The Prairie Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers (PCAG), in collaboration with the University of North Dakota are thrilled to announce the 2024 PCAG Annual Conference & Meeting.

Sponsored by the Virginia George Inheritance Fund, the Dakota Science Center, and East Grand Forks Heritage Village on behalf of the GEOG & GISc DEPT of the University of North Dakota, the 2024 Annual Meeting will be hosted at the Ramada Inn, in Grand Forks, ND on September 28, 2024.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation and refund of registration fee is possible until September 23, 2024. No refunds after September 23.

Accommodations

Ramada Inn has a block of rooms for early reservations until September 14, 2024. Call 701-775-3951 to reserve a room under the group name "PCAG2024". Ramada Inn: check-in 3pm, check-out 11am, breakfast 6-10am.

Please keep in mind that September 23-28, 2024, is UND Homecoming Week. The last weekend of September is going to have a major football game at the Alerus, so make hotel reservations early. Hotels nearby to the Ramada Inn are within walking distance. Connect with www.visitgrandforks.com

Call for Proposals

Now accepting Proposals for Paper and Poster Presentations. All papers and posters of a geographic nature are welcomed!

Include the Title of your submission
Include a 150-250 word summary of the presentation
Indicate if this is for a Paper Presentation or Poster Presentation

Field Trip

The PCAG2024 Field Trip is included with the overall registration fee. There will be a menu that will cater to vegan and/or pork-free and/or beef-free options in a traditional farm family picnic style.
